Which phone service fits?
Phone services are not on sale at the moment. If you already have one with us, it keeps working. To hear when they are back, contact us.
- Business number: a local or national number forwarded to your existing UK phone. Number rental and chargeable forwarding are separate.
- Business phone plans: ready-made per-user Essence, Elevate or Momentum packages.
- Managed PBX: a managed system for everyday office calls, with browser calling, voicemail, forwarding and business hours.
- Call Centre: a managed system for agents handling queued customer calls, with recording, reporting and integrations.
Essence, Elevate and Momentum compared
- Essence: browser calling, voicemail with transcripts, forwarding, greetings and hours.
- Elevate: Essence plus call menus, ring groups, transfer and hold, recording and conferences.
- Momentum: Elevate plus queues, reporting, CRM webhooks and a UK calling allowance subject to fair use.
The phone plans page shows current prices and allowances. Do not assume forwarding, international or premium calls are included.
Managed PBX or Call Centre?
Managed PBX suits an office where people make and receive everyday calls. Call Centre suits a customer-service or sales team where callers wait for an available agent and you need to see how calls are handled.
Call Centre includes the managed PBX service: do not buy another PBX seat for the same agent. It adds call menus, ring groups, queues, recording, reports and CRM webhooks. Outgoing calls are metered, rather than using Momentum’s included UK allowance.
These are alternative organisation phone services. Choose one package for your organisation and set its paid user or agent quantity. Mixed packages and separate agent-role billing are not supported by the current workspace.
Wallboards, skills routing, whisper/barge and callback automation are not included in this launch. See Call Centres for the current offering.
Understand your bill
Your bill separates user or agent seats, one-off setup, extra telephone numbers and chargeable call usage. Splash Phone plans include one number, not a new number for every user; Managed PBX and Call Centre numbers are bought separately. DIDs are telephone numbers; channels are simultaneous calls, not users.
Forwarding to an external mobile or landline may incur an outgoing call charge. Check your destination tariff before using forwarding. Call duration is currently billed in whole-minute increments. International, premium and excluded destinations have their own rates or may be blocked.
The standard account limit is four simultaneous calls. Discuss higher capacity with the team before ordering for a busy centre. Recording retention and bespoke integration work need agreement; do not assume unlimited storage or a ready-made CRM connector.
Set up and manage your phones
After verification and activation, open Phones. Add users, test the number, configure hours and unanswered-call handling, then test every menu or queue. Read the operational phone guide and Phone API documentation.
