About us
A new Leeds studio building websites, hosting them on our own servers, and running business phone systems. Three things, done properly, by the person who answers the phone.
We started this year
Splash Nodes was founded in Leeds in 2026. We say so plainly because you can check anyway, and because it is the reason we are worth ringing rather than a reason to hesitate.
A new business has to earn every customer. That means your job is not passed to whoever happens to be free — it is done by the person you spoke to on the phone. It means we answer when something breaks, because our reputation is still being assembled one job at a time and we cannot afford for yours to be the one that went wrong.
What we do not have is a decade of case studies. What we do have is the time and the motivation to do your work properly, prices that reflect where we are, and the honesty to tell you when something falls outside what we are good at. Customers who join us early keep their rates as we grow.
Why we do it this way
Most small businesses end up with a web person, an IT person and a phone provider, none of whom talk to each other. When something breaks, each one explains that it is somebody else's fault, and the business owner ends up project-managing three suppliers to solve one problem.
Doing all three ourselves removes that. If your site is slow, your email is not arriving, or your calls are breaking up, there is one number to ring and nobody to pass it to.
How we work
- You speak to the person doing the work. No account managers relaying messages.
- Callbacks usually within the hour, always before 8pm, and first thing the next morning if you ask late.
- Changes are included. No hourly billing for small jobs, because that stops people asking and lets sites go stale.
- Plain language. If we cannot explain why something is worth doing, it probably is not.
- You own your things. Your domain, your content, your numbers.
What we are not
We are not an agency with a floor of staff, and we do not take on enormous projects. If you need a complex ecommerce platform or a bespoke web application, there are better fits and we will say so rather than take the work and struggle.
What we are good at is small businesses who want a site that brings in enquiries, hosting that never needs thinking about, and phones that work — looked after by someone who picks up.
The name. A splash and a node. Water, because everything ripples outward from one point of contact, and nodes because that is what a network is made of. It made sense at the time and it still does.
Where we work
We are based at 32 Blenheim View, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS2 9QB, and work with businesses across the whole of Yorkshire. Most of what we do happens over calls and email, so distance is rarely an issue, and we are happy to meet in person where that helps — for photography, for a first conversation, or simply because some things are easier face to face.
